Parents often understand that play is important but don't always recognize the developmental
skills children are building during everyday play experiences.
My Role
Served as a developmental consultant and content contributor for a national parent education
initiative.
What I Contributed
Developed parent-facing educational content connecting play with emotional development.
Wrote practical guidance explaining the emotional benefits of common play activities.
Contributed to the development of The Emotional Wellness Playbook.
Impact
Expanded the educational value of an existing parent resource by helping caregivers intentionally
support emotional development through everyday play.
